"Alchemy at its root is the transformation of the self."
Dedicated to self-transformation, The Alchemist's Kitchen hosts events with the goal of education, community, and empowerment. The Alchemist's Kitchen began as a premier destination spot for botanical remedies, but has since emerged as a gateway into a conscious lifestyle. All our digital offerings are curated to elevate and expand the mind, body, and soul.
As we learn to adjust to life in quarantine people are reporting increased anxiety symptoms and are being forced to come up with new self-care routines that can be done in their home. People are feeling exhausted and burnt out as they juggle their work responsibilities, parents are overwhelmed with home schooling, and kids are feeling confined and lonely.
Are you or your children experiencing sleeplessness, digestive disorders, and headaches? The good news is that there are a number of strategies to help you manage these symptoms.
In this workshop, we’ll combine yoga and psychotherapeutic techniques to improve our ability to manage stress. Using breathing exercises, gentle poses, and mindfulness-based psychology you’ll begin to develop your own stress management plan to bring balance to your nervous system and calm your mind. Adults and children alike will benefit from this workshop.
You’ll learn:
• Practical and accessible meditation techniques.
• the physiological symptoms of anxiety, and practical information about the nervous system.
• Cognitive-behavioral techniques to manage your thoughts.
• Safe and effective breathing and meditation techniques
• Physical yoga postures and movement techniques that enable deep rest, relaxation, and tension release.
